According to the relevant national policy on the energy conservation and environmental protection industry, the institute has developed varies of projects in the field of thermal engineering, such as burning system of exhaust gas and liquid waste, recovery system of waste heat of high temperature furnace slag, flue gas desulphurization system and so on. The flue gas desulphurization system and flue gas denitration system have become the major projects of the institute in the field of thermal engineering, which have brought good economic benefits.
